A 60-year-old man, Subrayulu Naidu of Arakkonam, staged a protest in front of the Public Grievance Hall on the premises of the Vellore Collectorate on Monday, demanding the district administration to retrieve his 4.5 acre land at Valarpuram from land grabbers.
Since 2009, he had been fighting to get back his land. He said the bogus document were created with the help of revenue officials attached to Arakkonam Taluk office in 2006. He said he came to know about the forgery in 2009. He submitted a petition to District Collector Ajay Yadav urging him to take action. The Collector assured him that he would initiate action within a week.
