The procedural snag on US-India Civilian Nuclear agreement has been cleared and the Bill is now ready for the consideration of the House.

Washington: A Bill, seeking to give effect to the US-India Civilian Nuclear agreement, has been cleared and efforts are being made to find time in the House of Representatives for its passage, according to Congressional sources.

The hold, ''agreed draft'', was put on Thursday following insistence by Republican law-maker John Boehner to include in the bill an unrelated legislation.

Sources said the procedural snag has been cleared and the Bill is now ready for the consideration of the House.

The issue came up at a meeting of the House-Senate conferees, primarily convened to resolve differences in the versions of the Bill passed earlier by the two houses of the Congress.

Efforts are on to accommodate the provision in the agenda of the House and the Senate before they adjourn for the weekend.
