KOCHI: G Adithya and Anjali Nair of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, won the first prize in the National Debate Competition organised by the CBSE, as part of the National Vigilance Awareness Week.G Aditya was also awarded the prize for the best individual speaker. The debate was on ‘In spite of the provisions of checks and balances in the Constitution, there is a strong need for the Lokpal Bill’.The winners received a cash award of Rs 10,000 and trophy.
