Bipasha Basu Congratulates New Parents Alanna Panday, Ivor McCray

Ananya Panday’s cousin, social media influencer Alanna Panday, has welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with husband Ivor McCray. The couple shared the joyful news on their Instagram handles, further revealing the baby’s face to their followers. “Our little angel is here,” they wrote. While the entire Panday family is cheering on the little one’s arrival, many others, including celebrities like Bipasha Basu and Jibraan Khan, also congratulated the proud parents. The actress reshared Alanna’s video on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Congratulations to our doll @alannapanday & @ivor. And to the entire Pandey fam.”

Bipasha also commented on the original post and wrote, “Congratulations sweetheart.”

In the video, Ivor can be seen entering the scene, sitting on the bed, and calling out to Alanna. She soon appears with their baby in her arms. The couple share gazes and a sweet kiss before the adorable video ends. Both the parents are dressed in matching blue outfits, while the newborn is also dressed in blue.

For those unaware, Alanna Panday is the daughter of Chunky Panday’s brother Chikki Panday, and fitness instructor Deanne Panday. She got married to US-based filmmaker Ivor McCray in March 2023 in a picturesque ceremony in Mumbai. Earlier this year, they announced Alanna’s pregnancy with dreamy maternity pictures. “We love you so much already, we can’t wait to meet you,” the post read.

Ever since the US-based couple has been sharing their journey to embracing parenthood. Alanna and Ivor also held a ‘gender reveal’ party, confirming that they were expecting a boy. While the entire family was eagerly waiting for the baby’s arrival, actress Ananya Panday was among the most excited ones.

A few months ago, a video of Ananya’s reaction to Alanna’s pregnancy went viral. Unable to contain her happiness, the actress lovingly caressed her cousin’s baby bump and jokingly said, “I just want to take it out.”
