Last Friday, Kavin revealed his involvement in an upcoming project. The film, titled Bloody Beggar, was introduced with a promotional video, showcasing Nelson Dilipkumar’s filmmaking style. It’s important to note that Kavin has a close relationship with Nelson Dilipkumar and has previously served as an assistant director on the set of Vijay’s movie Beast.

The promo features Nelson, Kavin, and Sivabalan seated at a table, joined by Redin Kinglsey, who brings up the idea of a new film directed by Sivabalan. The cinematography for Bloody Beggar will be handled by Sujith Sarang, while Jen Martin will compose the music. R Nirmal will serve as the editor.

Kavin shared his feelings in a sincere message when revealing his new film. He said, “This project is much more than just a film—it represents the strong connection with my closest friends. Sivabalan ???? Our journey from brainstorming ideas in tea shops to discussing them on the streets and beyond. From sharing storytelling sessions to making movies, it feels amazing." Kavin also thanked Nelson for giving him this opportunity.

Kavin is eagerly anticipating the release of his upcoming film Star, directed by Elan. He is promoting this coming-of-age drama, slated to premiere on May 10. The cast includes Lal, Geetha Kailasam, Aaditi Pohankar, Preity Mukhundhan, and others. Cinematographer Ezhil Arasu K managed the filming, while editing was overseen by Pradeep E Ragav. Star revolves around the film industry, tracing a man’s dream of becoming a movie actor.
