Singer Justin Timberlake was arrested on Tuesday, June 19, for driving while intoxicated (DWI). While he was released a few hours after his arrest, photos of him handcuffed and escorted by a police official has now gone viral on social media. Several social media users have widely shared a picture in which Justin was seen in handcuffs and walking out of what seems to be the police station.
Page Six reported that the photo was clicked when Justin was escorted from the police station to the court, where he was arraigned and released from custody. The singer was seen with his lawyer. Beside the handcuffed photo, social media users have also been sharing Justin’s mugshot photo that was taken by the police after his arrest.

According to Associate Press, Justin was driving a 2025 BMW in Sag Harbor at 12:30 a.m. when he was pulled over. “His eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests,” the court papers said.
As per the report, the 43-year-old singer sad he had one martini and ‘was following some friends home’. The SexyBack hitmaker was asked to perform a breath test but allegedly refused, as per the court papers. Following his release, a source told People Magazine that Justin appeared to be ‘a bit upset’. His wife Jessica Biel wasn’t present with him at the time.
Justin has been called in to appear in court on July 26. The singer is yet to release a statement or a comment on the turn of events.
