Richa Chadha is all set and excited to enter the new phase of her life— motherhood. Soon, she will welcome her first child with husband-actor Ali Fazal. Throughout her pregnancy, Richa Chadha, so far, has kept her fans informed about her journey, challenges and dedication to her work. In her recent Instagram entry, the actress recalled the time she spent promoting her latest show, Heeramandi. She mentioned leaving no stone unturned even though she was in her third trimester which comes with “discomfort, insomnia, acid trippy dreams and more”.
Discussing in detail about what one has to go through in pregnancy, Richa Chadha said, “Third trimester comes with discomfort, insomnia, acid trippy dreams, backache, migraine, and weepy moods.” She even posted a few pictures in traditional Heeramandi attire and added, “Loved being exclusively in Indian wear through the promotions! #Latergram from promoting #heeramandionnetflix. Cuz the future will be better but the past is better than the present today LOLOL. It’s been almost 2 WHOLE months but I am getting endless love for LAJJO. Hence the smile.”
To conclude her post on a happy note, Richa Chadha tagged her husband Ali Fazal and humorously wrote, “Come home soon. We got work to do, the house needs baby proofing.”
While Richa Chadha navigates the challenges of pregnancy, her husband, Ali Fazal, is preparing to embark on this new phase of parenthood. According to reports, Ali Fazal plans to take paternity leave starting in July to fully prepare for the arrival of his child with Richa Chadha. A source close to him told Hindustan Times, “Ali is going to wrap up all his work by June 30 and will then go for a break for four to five weeks to focus on Richa and their soon-to-be born kid.”
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal tied the knot in a private ceremony amidst the pandemic in 2020. They later celebrated with a lavish party alongside friends and relatives in 2022. Earlier this year, the couple joyfully announced on Instagram that they were expecting their first child together.
