Days after Naga Chaitanya got engaged to Sobhita Dhulipala, a video of the actor has surfaced on social media which has left netizens excited yet confused. In the viral clip, Chay is seen dressed as a groom. He looks charming as always in a white sherwani as he arrives in a car with what looks like his baraat. The actor is seen waving at the cameras and flaunting his smile. Not just this, people can also be seen dancing to dhol beats around the car.
Soon after the video surfaced online, several social media users reacted to it and asked, “What is happening?” “Is he getting married?” asked another. However, News18 Showsha has learnt that Chay dressed like a groom for the opening ceremony of a store in Hyderabad.
Interestingly, the video comes days after Chay, who was previously married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, got engaged to Sobhita Dhulipala. The two exchanged rings on August 8, 2024. It was an intimate ceremony at Chaitanya’s home, attended only by close family members.
Sharing their first official pictures online, Naga Chaitanya’s father, superstar Nagarjuna wrote, “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! ❤️ 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love ❤️.”
Later, the couple also shared new romantic pictures from their engagement ceremony and wrote, “What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father to yours anyway? And how did you and I meet ever? But in love, our hearts are as red earth and pouring rain: mingled beyond parting.”
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are planning for a destination wedding in 2025. However, there is no official confirmation of this as of now.
