TV and film actor Mukesh Rawal, who was popular for essaying the role of Vibhishan in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, died in a train accident yesterday.
According to media reports, the 65-year-old actor was travelling to attend the dubbing session for one of his upcoming Gujarati film, when the accident took place. His body was recovered at Kandivali railway track yesterday at 9.33 am. However, as suggested by a railway police press release, his family members identified him this morning.
Besides working in Bollywood films such as Zid, Satta, Auzaar and Kasak, Rawal was also popular for his contribution as a Gujarati film artiste. He was last seen in Gujarati film, Sathiyo Chalyo Khodaldham.
