Sonakshi Sinha Drops New Pic From ‘Honeymoon Round 2’ In Philippines: ‘Now Waiting For Zaheer Iqbal’
Sonakshi and Zaheer then went on a small honeymoon to Singapore before the actress began promoting her film, Kakuda.

Sonakshi Sinha is currently enjoying her new marriage phase. She got married to Zaheer Iqbal in June. It was an intimate function with only family members and friends in attendance. Well, today the actress shared a photo from her honeymoon round 2. She is currently in the Philippines and is waiting for hubby Zaheer Iqbal to join.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Sonakshi Sinha shared a beautiful picturesque photo of nature and wrote, “now just waiting @iamzahero to get here becoz we had to take separate flights.” The couple got married in an intimate, civil marriage ceremony at Sonakshi’s apartment in Bandra. Sonakshi and Zaheer then went on a small honeymoon to Singapore before the actress began promoting her film, Kakuda.

Take a look here:

In a recent chat, Sonakshi was asked why she didn’t take a longer break. “I just got married, guys. Pata nahi aisa bhi kya kar diya maine,” Sonakshi told The Indian Express and added, “Maine who (honeymoon) bhi kar diya. And now I am back to work and loving it.” Sonakshi is currently busy promoting Kakuda, which also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Saquib Saleem.

Talking about the horror-comedy film, Sonakshi said, “Kakuda came to me and I just found it to be such a fun read. I was very entertained while reading the script. Although I don’t like horror films, there was so much humour in this film. Aditya (Sarpotdar) is someone who has understood this genre so well. I think his grasp on it is fantastic. He kind of knows where to scare people, where to make them laugh, the punches, the beats, he gets it bang on. It was a pleasure to work on a genre like this for the first time with a director like him who is so well-versed in it.”

Meanwhile, News18’s review of the film reads, “The simplicity of the premise works both in favour of the film and against it. The horror elements are few and far between, but the ones that are present are not good enough to cause jump-scares. Some of the jokes land, while others don’t. Ritesh Deshmukh, as the ghost hunter brought in to tackle the curse, gets to mouth most of the jokes and delivers them well. It’s a terrific casting choice – for Riteish is fantastic in his role, oscillating between his amazing comic timing and the serious moments. Saqib has little to do but convincingly portrays the anguish of a man marked by a deadly curse and his efforts to ensure his widow finds happiness after his death are touching. Sonakshi Sinha is convincing in a role where she not only confronts superstitions but also brings a surprising twist to the story.”
