Director SS Rajamouli has cast his vote but it was nothing less than an adventure for him. The RRR director revealed he has voted for his candidate at the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on Monday. The filmmaker shared a picture of his inked finger on Instagram along with his adventurous journey. Rajamouli revealed he returned from Dubai on Monday morning and one of the first things he did upon landing for head to a polling booth.
In a post on Instagram, Rajamouli said, “Flew from Dubai… Rushed to the polling booth directly from the airport, hence the tired looks. Done! YOU?” The filmmaker posed with his wife, Rama Rajamouli, and their son SS Karthikeya. Check out the photo below:
Earlier in the day, stars such as Jr NTR, Allu Arjun and Chiranjeevi were also seen casting their vote at polling booths in Hyderabad. After he cast his vote, Allu Arjun spoke to the press and urged fans to cast their vote. “It’s a very responsible day for us as all of us, for the citizens of this country. I know its quite hot but let’s put that little effort because today is the most crucial day for next five years of our lives. Please cast your vote and vote responsibly,” he said.
“There will be a huge voter turnout, as more and more people are coming out to vote…I would like to tell, I am not politically aligned with any party. I am neutral to all parties,” he added.
Chiranjeevi also asked youngsters to step out and vote. “I would like to say, every time I have been saying, this time also (I say), new emerging waters are coming up. I do request them (young voters) to make use of your power of vote. Voting is our right,” he said. As he headed to his car, a journalist ask Chiranjeevi about his brother, actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan. The actor is contesting from the Pithapuram Assembly in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
