Recently, the actor received a brand new car as a gift from his son, Sarthak Oak. What was the special occasion you ask? It was Sarthak’s birthday. Since the actor never got a new car for himself, his son took it upon himself to give his father a luxurious car, which he deserves. On this special occasion, the actor took to social media to share the news with the fans and dropped a video. Prasad Oak, who started his career as an assistant director for the play Premachi Goshta, received a swanky BMW car as a gift from his son. In an Instagram post, Prasad expressed his gratitude and showered blessings on his child. The caption read, “Despite being a son, today you have become a father. I am very proud of you. May God always be with you and fulfil all your wishes. Millions of birthday wishes. Lots of love.”
Social media was touched to see this beautiful gesture by the son. It was a special occasion since it was Sarthak’s birthday and he chose to buy a present for his father. It was Manjiri Oak’s emotional post that offered a backstory to the gesture. She posted a photo of a cute little Sarthak seated on his bicycle and the next photo was of Prasad Oak and a grown up Sarthak posing beside the new car. She wrote, “When it came to anything related to you, Sarthak, your father was always a bit scared (still is). On your second birthday (September 3, 2002), when I insisted a little, your dad, who wasn’t really prepared, brought you a bicycle as a surprise gift. But he was worried that you might fall while riding it or hurt yourself, so for many days, he didn’t even allow you to take it downstairs. But when you finally rode it for the first time in front of him, the joy on your face was something else. That same childlike joy is visible on your dad’s face today.” She added that the reason behind the happiness on Prasad Oak’s dad’s face is that after 22 years, on September 3, this year, Sarthak surprised him with a big car as a gift.
Manjiri Oak claimed that she told her son it was not necessary, to which Sarthak said that dad would never buy a car and would instead urge him to buy a small house. She concluded the post by saying how proud she is of her sons- Sarthak and Mayank.
