Sunny Deol’s son Rajveer Deol and Poonam Dhillon’s daughter Paloma are gearing up for the release of their acting debuts with Dono. Ever since the trailer of Avnish Barjatya-directed new-age romance has been released, fans are eagerly waiting for it. To raise the excitement levels, the makers have now released the shaadi number Agg Lagdi from the movie. Touted as the festive song of the year, Rajveer and Paloma can be seen grooving effortlessly on the Shankar – Ehsaan – Loy composition which is penned by Irshad Kamil.
The song that has the infectious vocals of Siddharth Mahadevan and Lisa Mishra was launched digitally on Friday, September 15. In the video of the song, Rajveer and Paloma can be seen shaking a leg with each other at a wedding in the film and dancing through the Haldi and Sangeet ceremonies. Watch the video of the song here:
Rajshri Productions is in its 76th year of establishment and Dono is Rajshri’s celebration film. Dono was announced in 2020 by Rajveer’s grandfather and veteran actor Dharmendra. Back then, he had shared the exciting news about his grandson’s Bollywood debut on social media and had written, “Introducing my grandson Rajveer Deol to the world of cinema along with Avnish Barjatya’s directorial debut. I humbly request you all to shower the same love and affection on both the kids as you have on me. Good luck and God bless."
Dono is set to release on October 5. The teaser was launched last month and generated curiousity. The trailer launched on September 4. The official description reads: “Welcoming back the innocence of love with two strangers who have one destination. A new journey unfolds in cinemas 5th October!" The film is produced by Kamal Kumar Barjatya, Late Rajkumar Barjatya, and Ajit Kumar Barjatya, whereas creative Production is led by Sooraj R. Barjatya.
