Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput never fail to shell out some major couple goals. They are often seen painting the town red with their mushy pictures on social media. From embarking on romantic getaways to speaking fondly about each other in interviews, the celebrity pair is undoubtedly head over heels in love. So, it was not a surprise for fans when Shahid Kapoor penned a heartfelt birthday message for his “queen” on social media when Mira Rajput turned a year older on September 7. Mira is celebrating her 29th birthday this year. To make his ladylove feel special, the Kabir Singh actor dropped a streak of lovey-dovey pictures with his wifey on Instagram along with a note.

“Mira the queen of my heart. Happy birthday to you and oh so lucky to have you all for me always and forever,” wrote Shahid Kapoor. The photos captured Shahid and Mira Rajput decked up in traditional ensembles. The Bloody Daddy actor was dressed in a sheer black kurta that he teamed up with a scarf of the same shade having white prints. Mira, on the other hand, draped a navy blue saree with small golden floral prints. She accessorised her look with a stone-encrusted choker necklace. Her hair was tied in a ponytail. Mira Rajput rounded off her glammed-up avatar with subtle makeup, comprising kohl-rimmed eyes and nude lipstick.

In the first picture, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput looked at each other affectionately, striking a romantic pose. The couple sported beaming smiles on their faces. The last snap featured Shahid Kapoor planting a kiss on Mira’s cheek, as the duo faced the camera.

As soon as the pictures surfaced on the internet fans went gaga over the couple and expressed their admiration in the comments. One of them wrote, “How sweet… love you both. Keep loving and growing together.” Noting Shahid and Mira’s chemistry, another pointed out, “The way you both look at each other.” “The Glam With Glamorous,” read another lovely remark. A few others also wished Mira Rajput a happy birthday.

Back on July 7 when Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary, the actor flaunted love for his better half in an adorable Instagram post.

Sharing a picture from one of their travel escapades, Shahid Kapoor captioned his post, “In a sky full of stars …. I gave you my heart. Go on and tear me apart. you will only find you in my heart (pl don’t kill me cause I made up my version of your fav song) Happy anniversary my wife for life.”

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor has three films lined up in his pipeline. He will next be seen in directors Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah’s Impossible Love Story, Aditya Nimbalkar’s Bull, and a remake of the 1964 film Woh Kaun Thi?
