The Congress In-charge for Jharkhand, Keshav Rao, on Wednesday announced his seat sharing formula with JMM. Not surprisingly, RJD and LJP were given a raw deal. He spoke to CNN-IBN's Sumon K Chakrabarti.
Sumon K Chakrabarti: You have drawn up your seat sharing arrangement with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha in Jharkhand already?
Keshav Rao Last time we did go with JMM, RJD and CPI. We won six seats, JMM four, RJD two and CPI one. I would not comment on any other party but I will say that I am announcing today, 12 out of 14 seats.
Sumon K Chakrabarti: One thing is very clear that you all have already spoken to JMM and come to a deal with them when it comes to Jharkhand and RJD had been kept out of it. But you are saying RJD had come to you and asked for tickets from you.
Keshav Rao If RJD does come to me today, I will give two, maybe three seats out my friendship with them. But right now I am just announcing my party's seats.
Sumon K Chakrabarti: Are you giving any seats to Ram Vilas Paswan's Lok Janashakti Party?
Keshav Rao No, I don't think that can happen because first of all I don't have seats and number two I have seen that he will not be able to make it for his party.
