SP has grown closer to the Congress, the RLD has joined hands with BJP.

New Delhi: Ajit Singh's Rashtriya Lok Dal has signed a pre-poll alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party. There is a lot of political development happening ahead of the general elections.

Ajit Singh met opposition leader L K Advani on Monday. The two parties are reportedly close to wrapping up a seat sharing deal in western Uttar Pradesh.

RLD which has a stronghold in the western part of the state, is likely to get seven seats including Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar, Mathura and Amroha. It is interesting to note that the RLD was in alliance with the Samajwadi Party in the last elections.

But while the SP has grown closer to the Congress, the RLD has joined hands with the BJP.

What's your reaction?
