Trinamool, TDP not in favour of the N-deal
While the Trinamool is a part of the NDA, the TDP is a part of the Third Front.

New Delhi: The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government is getting isolated on the issue of the Indo-US nuclear deal with the Trinamool Congress and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) also opposing the deal.

While the Trinamool is a part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the TDP is a key member of the Third Front.

Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee, who has been distancing herself from the NDA, said on Sunday in Kolkata that the deal was not acceptable in its present form.

Mamata will leave for Delhi later on Sunday to participate in the debate on the deal in Parliament.

She said that she was not going to Delhi to meet the NDA but to put forth her party's views

"No, I have not been asked to be in the capital by anybody. I am going there to put forth my party's views," Mamata said.

What's your reaction?
