Bigg Boss 17: Anurag Dobhal’s Fans Upset Over Less Screen Time, Take A Dig At Munawar Faruqui

YouTuber Anurag Dobhal has created a lot of buzz ever since his participation in the popular reality show Bigg Boss 17. Time and again, he has come under the scanner for his comments on the show and has often been reprimanded by host Salman Khan for it. So much so that the YouTuber requested the makers he would like to leave the show voluntarily and pay the sum for breaching the contract. However, much to the delight of his fans, Anurag decided to stay on. But his fandom is quite upset over the recent episodes in the show.

Anurag Dobhal fans, who popularly call themselves Brosena, claim that he is not getting enough screen time and also took a jibe at Munawar Faruqui, stating that the makers give him preference. One fan said, “We tune in to the program for #BabuBhaiya , not for your unsuccessful poet and television performers. Showcasing the performance will undoubtedly impress knowledgeable individuals. TRP MEANS BABU BHAIYA.” Another expressed a similar view saying, “I watch Bigg Boss primarily for Anurag Dobhal. Currently, the makers are not featuring him in either the live or main episodes, and this is the main reason why this season is not garnering high TRP. Colors TV, if you want higher TRP, consider giving more screen time to Anurag Dobhal.”

Many alleged that the makers are biased towards Munawar Faruqui who currently is the captain of the house. “We are not interested in your favorite celebrities and “Sasta Shayar.” We want more screen space for Anurag Dobhal. He is the only option to save BB17,” said one user. Another follower remarked, “He is a good guy,who needed guidance from the host but they pulled him down for #MunawarFaruqui since #AnuragDobhal & his #BroSena are the real threat to their fixed winner.”

Some also claimed that the show was unfair, saying, “Anurag Dobhal is real in this reality show, your baised show always keeps him down , No screen time.”

This is not the first time the debate over Anurag Dobhal’s screen time and preference for other celebrities has come to the limelight. In the initial weeks after the show’s premiere, Anurag himself questioned the makers for preferring television stars over YouTubers on the season. He said on the show, “This time the show is all and only about TV, not the YouTubers or any other communities. They have bought us into the show for entertainment and not as winning material. They take our names at the 17th and 18th numbers.”

Anurag, popularly known as a UK rider, is famous for his moto vlogging, and has a huge fan following on social media.
