Bengaluru Man Has A 'Master Plan' To Invade RCB vs CSK Face-Off At Chinnaswamy

A man from Bengaluru is planning to invade the pitch during the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings, slated to take place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 18. There are many instances where people have been spotted causing interference in cricket or football matches. In the majority of those cases, fans took the risky call to meet and greet their favourite players on the field. This time, Bengaluru’s Nitin Sequeira wants to run across the Chinnaswamy Stadium, supposedly just for fun.

Sequeira, who is the co-founder of Clout Chasers, is also a popular content creator on social media. He revealed his thoughts by sharing a video on Instagram. Sequeira seems to have put much effort into planning the intervention. He has already evaluated the security arrangements of the stadium in Bengaluru.

To chalk out his plan, the content creator had to attend another home match of Royal Challengers Bengaluru. That time, he sat in a stand where the security seemed quite tight. After checking out all the stands, Sequeira found two galleries with no barricades and fences on the other side of the ground.

“I found these two stands with no barricades at all. After a lot of calls and networking and all that stuff, I finally got access to one of those stands. Yeah, that’s how it’s gonna happen. One of these two stands, 18th of May, RCB vs CSK. See you there,” Sequeira was heard saying in the video.

After the clip surfaced on the internet, many viewers slammed the man for having such a bizarre plan. Some of them also tagged the Bengaluru police in the comment section and urged them to look into the matter.

A user, evidently disgusted, wrote, “No one is buying tickets to see you running through the ground.” “Please everyone report him before he could breach into the stadium,” commented a fan. Calling out the Bengaluru police, another user said, “Make sure he gets banned from all matches and blacklisted.”

Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru began their campaign in the ongoing IPL with a head-to-head clash at Chepauk on March 22. The hosts had the last laugh in the contest, securing a six-wicket victory. RCB will aim for a payback this time at their home, Chinnaswamy.
