A courtroom video is gaining attention online, in which a case of a woman who married 7 times and took money from each of her spouses, is being discussed by the members.
The 1-minute 26-second clip was shared on X by an account called @DeepikaBhardwaj. According to the long tweet written over the clip, the unnamed woman tied the knot 7 times and took maintenance money from 6 of her husbands. The case being fought involved her 7th spouse. The video starts with a conversation between the judge and the lawyers, who ask them some basic questions related to the case.
It is revealed that she stayed with each of her husbands for a period of 6 months to 1 year, then filed the 498A maintenance cases on them. The judge states, “You are playing with the law.” By the end of the clip, he assigns another date to the case and orders the authorities to get all the details on every husband. He asks what has happened with the cases before this, the lawyer reveals that they settled.
