'Who's Gonna Tell Them': This Viral Insta Reel of Besties Has Turned Internet into Matchmaker
Two besties strike a conversation with an Instagram artist on streets but internet spots something special between them.

We’ve all heard the classic movie line, “Ek ladka aur ladki kabhi dost nahi ho sakte.” This sentiment seemed to gain traction on the internet, especially after a random Instagram reel introduced two best friends. An artist, Vibhor Adnani, decided to put this notion to the test by snapping candid photos of couples on the street. When he encountered a man and a woman together, he asked if they were a couple. Their response? A resounding no—they were best friends.

Intrigued, Adnani struck up a conversation with them. He discovered that they had been friends for two years, having met randomly at a gym. Their first interaction was amusing: the woman asked him to sniff her coffee and tell her how it was. Both revealed that they were unmarried, with the woman teasing, “He’ll soon be married.” This led to a playful exchange about the man’s struggle to find the right woman. When asked why they never dated each other, they said, “Too good of a friendship to be ruined with anything else.”

The reel ended on a heartwarming note, showcasing their strong friendship.

However, the comment section buzzed with speculation. Some users turned into matchmakers, with one saying, “Trust me, they love each other it’s just that they aren’t sure about future or scared of ruining friendships.” Another commented, “Guy is clear in his mind he wants to marry her but girl likes him as frnd only and not letting him leave… thats actually is sad and a fk up relation.” A third predicted, “Guys these two people’s are going to marry each other.”

Others defended their friendship, urging people to stop judging them. One user remarked, “Indian society is not ready to accept such kind of friendships.” Another added, “I have seen people ruining good friendship by misunderstanding the chemistry between them as something to be pursued as romantic love. But many times it’s just love for the supportive, caring person they are and the unproblematic friendship they provide. May they always be this amazing pair of friends.”
