Chennai-based YouTuber's video revealing unborn child's gender goes wrong.

Popular Tamil YouTuber and food vlogger with 4.29 million followers, Irfan, was recently in the headlines for conducting a sex determination test. Earlier, in a series of videos, Chennai-based Irfan said that he and his wife had come to Dubai specifically to undergo this test. He has now finally entered into parenthood. Sharing the good news with his followers, YouTuber Irfan shared a glimpse of the newborn baby girl, which is currently going viral.

In the latest post, Irfan shared an adorable photo. In the picture, the baby is seen holding his father’s finger. Sharing the photograph on his official Instagram handle, Irfan wrote, “Suddenly everything’s changed! My princess is here, my baby girl! Enna nalladhu pannirkaenu therila, enaku ipdi oru sandhosham kedachuruku.. idk how I am going to repay @iasifanazir for the miracle! Our family has grown! The post went viral in no time. While his followers showered congratulations messages and good wishes in the comment section, many people shared red hearts and fire emojis.

Earlier, Irfan already revealed the gender of their kid in a video released on May 18. The video shows their visit to a Dubai hospital on May 2 followed by a lively ‘gender reveal’ party held in Chennai.

Irfan pointed out in the video that such tests are illegal in India but are allowed in many other countries.

In the video, Irfan freely acknowledged his desire for a daughter as well as his overwhelming excitement upon learning the baby’s gender. The clip quickly garnered nearly 2 million views, while the vlog documenting their Dubai trip garnered over 1 million views. Later, the celebration has led to serious legal repercussions for Irfan.

The State Enforcement Officer and Director of Medical and Rural Health Services sent him a warning for breaking the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PC-PNDT) Act. This Act strictly prohibits the determination and disclosure of an unborn baby’s gender in India. Additionally, the health department also requested the cyber wing of the police to ensure the removal of the controversial video from the internet.
