Earlier, in an interview with News18, while speaking about the film’s success, he shared, “It’s a beautiful feeling. Box office success is also required. It’s very special. Nothing is sweeter than success, especially box office success. We’ve been waiting for that in the past couple of years. I’m glad that the tides have changed and people are back in theatres. It’s great that Dream Girl 2 is also part of that wave.”
Talking about Dream Girl 2, the film also stars Ananya Panday in the lead role. Directed by director Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film was released on August 25. Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Seema Pahwa, and others were also seen in the film. The comedy entertainer commenced its journey at the ticket window on an absolutely promising note with an amazing opening of 10.69 Cr, which is the biggest opener for Ayushmann’s career.
