One such addition to the list of desi jugaad is this video of a man who is enjoying his meal on a bicycle tyre. No, we are not kidding.
The now-viral video shows a desi man seated on a stool and enjoying his meal. But what’s interesting to see is the spinning table placed in front of him, which was built using a bicycle tyre. Yes, you read it correctly. The table was laden with several dishes containing salad, curry, dal, and boiled eggs, among other items. As the video progresses, the desi man rotates the tyre to pick what he desires to eat from the items displayed on his innovative table.

Needless to say, the video became quite popular on the microblogging site soon after it was uploaded. In just two days, it has garnered over 4,63,000 likes and the number is continuously growing. Social media users couldn’t hold back from commenting on the video, praising the man’s idea and sharing their take on the viral video.
An account remarked, “VIP talent…kam Paisa Khushi jyada…yeh hai India ka talent (VIP talent…less money, more happiness…this is India’s talent).”
“Yah talent India walon ke alava aur kahin nahin milega (This talent will not be found anywhere except in India),” a user added.
An Instagram user commented, “Exactly, yeh talent India se baahar nhi jaani chahiye. Unbelievable Desi jugaad. (Exactly, this idea should not go out of India. Unbelievable Desi jugaad).”
“Wow what an idea. Middle class dining table,” another wrote.
Praising the man’s ingenious idea, an individual stated, “That is Indian power.”
Earlier, another video of a farmer from Sanikere village in Challakere taluka of Chitradurga district, Karnataka, went viral. The video shows the farmer doing smart work instead of hard work, using a desi jugaad to remove weeds from the farmland and make his life a little simpler. The farmer named Shivraj took a scrapped bicycle and modified it according to his needs into a machine that can be used for removing weeds from his farm.
