Shah Rukh Khan kick-started 2023 with his banger comeback performance in director Siddharth Anand’s action thriller Pathaan. With Deepika Padukone as the female lead, actor John Abraham plays the main antagonist in the fourth instalment of the YRF Spy Universe. The plot sees SRK as an exiled RAW agent going up against a rogue terrorist organization to eradicate their evil intention of a deadly virus attack on India.

Jawan

Directed by Altee, Shah Rukh Khan plays a dual role in this high-octane action thriller also featuring Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra. Moved by personal vendetta, Jawan chronicles the emotional journey of a man adamant to rectify all the wrongs and corruption of society. SRK’s Pathaan co-star Deepika Padukone also makes a special cameo appearance in the film.

Dunki

Shah Rukh Khan will next appear in director Raj Kumar Hirani’s comedy-drama flick Dunki, set to hit the theatres in December 2023. With Taapsee Pannu, Dia Mirza, and Bomani Irani as the supporting cast, the movie highlights an illegal immigration method called Donkey Flight.

Tiger 3

Just like Salman Khan’s special cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, the superstar duo will once again be seen together in the upcoming actioner Tiger 3. Set after the events of War and Pathaan in YRF’s spy universe, the movie stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in pivotal roles. The movie will feature Salman Khan going against a dangerous man, who has some personal revenge to settle with Agent Tiger.
